One pound minced (ground) meat pork or beef ( or
mixed)
margarine or butter
one big onion, pealed and chopped
A big green, red or yellow bell pepper, chopped
Soya sauce
Black pepper
Some spice you would use for meat or barbecue
That's the basic:
You start with frying the mince meat in a pan with margarine until it has a nice
color. Use a fork to mash it up thoroughly so it doesn't get too chunky.
Add onions and bell pepper when meat is about half
done.
Mix about a small glass of water in a bowl with soya sauce and
spices and stir it in when it's fried enough.
Simmer 10 minutes.
This is good for the poor and it only takes a few
minutes to do so it's good for the lazy one too^^
But you can also put it all in a pot and add what you've got:
You can make it into more of a sauce by adding more water/milk or
cream (depending on how fat you want to become ^^) tomato
sauce/catsup or a jar of crushed tomatoes. A number of different
vegetables tastes nice with this so you can add corn, mushrooms,
fresh tomatoes, leek... whatever you have got so it's great for using leftovers.
A number of spices taste good with this too, just use what you
fancy and what normally goes well with meat. Curry is great,
paprika too.
do it Mexican with chilis, cilantro and cumin,
do it Italian with tomatoes, basil, oregano,
do it Indy with curry, pepper, chilis, peaches, cream
Serve over pasta or rice.
